The Queen's Gallery in Edinburgh was opened by Her Majesty on 29 November 2002 as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. This Victorian building was originally built as the Holyrood Free Church but was last used for worship in 1915. Today, the Gallery, which is located close to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, hosts a programme of changing exhibitions every 6 months from the Royal Collection which include art, ceramics, tapestries etc.
