The Scottish Seabird Centre at North Berwick offers visitors the unique experience of becoming a wildlife cameraman for the day to watch amazing wildlife close up! Set in a stunning location, overlooking the islands of the Firth of Forth, the Centre is proud of its stream of prestigious awards and 5 star attraction status. Visitors control remote control live cameras on the islands of the Firth of Forth, to get really close to seabirds and marine wildlife, so close that they can actually read the rings on birds’ feet. The islands are rich in wildlife – including puffins and the world famous gannets on the Bass Rock in summer and occasional sightings of dolphins and whales and the big winter attraction are grey seals with their pups. An all weather attraction, there’s something for everyone at the Seabird Centre, with wildlife theatre, fun interactives, talks, events, exhibitions and workshops, boat trips to the islands and the new Environment Zone & Migration Flyway. North Berwick is just a short trip from Edinburgh.
