The Dean Gallery is a magnificent art centre situated in parkland opposite the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Opened in 1999, it provides a home for the Eduardo Paolozzi gift of sculpture and graphic art, including a reconstruction of Paolozzi’s studio, made possible by the artist’s generous donation of the entire contents of his studio. It also houses the Gallery of Modern Art’s renowned Dada and Surrealist collections, one of the best collections of Surrealist art in the world
